Leavers 6-a-aside Tournament

Old Latymerians Sports Ground at Whitton,
Middx.
In an effort to get more ex pupils of
Latymer to join the Old Lats when they leave school, the Football Club
with the help of the school intend running several annual events for
recent leavers of Latymer. The first event took place at Whitton just
after Christmas when a 6-a-side competition was held when the sides
consisted of ex 1st & 2nd teams from Latymer since 1999 plus two sides
from the Old Lats. On a cold but dry day the competition produced a
very high standard of football played very competitively amongst many
players that had played together at School. After the final, which was
won by the Old Lats A team, a supper followed where everyone had the
chance to meet up with old school friends.
The Club intend holding this competition annually during the Christmas
vacations, and will be having a further event for school leavers
sometime during the summer.
